Reading F.C. midfielder Aaron Kuhl has dismissed speculation linking him with a ?2 million move to Manchester City in the upcoming summer window.
Kuhl, 18, has turned in a series of standout performances,?including in the first leg of the Under-21 Premier League Cup against City at the Etihad on 10 April, for the Royals’ U-21 side this season.
In fact, the highly-rated midfielder is reportedly attracting interest from a number of clubs, with City believed to be leading the race for the 18-year-old maestro.
However,cheap soccer jerseys, Kuhl has insisted the aforementioned ‘reports’ are merely rumours, while underlining his desire to stay on at Reading.
“It’s all just rumours,” Kuhl told the .
“It’s good to have rumours like that, getting your name in the paper and getting people to notice you, but I want to stay here.
“I’ve come through this club, I’m an academy product. I’ve been here for six or seven years now. This place means everything.
“It’s my home basically. I come in every day, live, breathe, eat – I do everything here.
“It’s a great club to be around. Everyone is humble and nice to talk to, so it’s all good.”
Kuhl added: “You get a burst of excitement [when you see the reports] but then you realise you’ve just got to stay down to earth and don’t let anything like that get in your head.
“The boys have all been getting into me a bit, talking about the ?2 million price tag, but it’s all a bit of banter.
“Nothing is going to change. I’m happy where I am and if I keep going the way I am then hopefully the manager [Nigel Adkins] will take notice. He’s put young players in the first team before as you’ve seen.”,soccer jerseys cheap;
Reading (18-13-13) — priced at to win promotion to England’s top-flight — are currently occupying the final promotion play-offs place but Brighton & Hove Albion, Nottingham Forest, Ipswich Town and Blackburn Rovers are within just three points of the Royals.
That said, if Nigel Adkins’ side were to win promotion, Kuhl — whose current contract at the Madjeski Stadium expires on 30 June 2016 — would likely stay at the club.
The same goes for Derby County midfielder Will Hughes,soccer jerseys cheap, who has been linked with a host of top English clubs, including Liverpool, over the past few months.
Now then, can the Royals beat out the likes of Derby (24-9-11), Queens Park Rangers (22-10-12) and Wigan Athletic (20-10-13) in the promotion play-offs to return to the Premier League next term?
